Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using LaroCourts at larocourts.vip: to book courts, coaches and rental gear, or to list a venue or a coaching profile, or to set venues up as a partner. By creating an account or making a booking you accept them. Our Cancellation and refund policy and Privacy policy are part of these terms.

Who we are

LaroCourts is operated by BEINTOUCH PTE. LTD. (Singapore UEN 202144978W), a company registered in Singapore, with its registered office at 10 Anson Road #20-05, International Plaza, Singapore 079903. “We”, “us” and “LaroCourts” mean that company. You can reach us at .

What LaroCourts does

  • LaroCourts is an online marketplace. Venues list their courts, opening hours, prices and rental gear; coaches offer lessons at the venues where they teach; players book and pay online.
  • The venue provides the court and the rental gear, and the coach provides the lesson. We don't run venues or employ coaches. Your booking is a contract between you and the venue, and also the coach for a lesson.
  • We take bookings and collect payments on behalf of venues and coaches through PayMongo, a licensed Philippine payment company. When your payment succeeds, you have paid the venue and the coach for that booking. Depending on how the venue is set up, the money goes straight into the venue's own PayMongo account with our commission split off, or we receive it for the venue and pay the venue its share.
  • Venues set their own prices, opening hours, booking settings, photos and descriptions, and are responsible for keeping them accurate. We review venues and coaches before they appear, but we don't guarantee their services. Tell us if a listing is wrong.
  • Venues marked Demo are test listings, not real venues.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account. A parent or guardian can book courts and lessons for a child from their own account and is responsible for that booking.
  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or by SMS where that option is shown. Keep your email account and phone secure: anyone who can read your codes can use your account, and you are responsible for bookings made from it.
  • Give accurate details. If you add a mobile number, use one the venue can reach you on.
  • You can stop using LaroCourts at any time. To close your account, email us (see the Privacy policy).

Bookings and payment

  • Prices are in Philippine pesos. Before you pay you see the total (the court, plus the coach and rental gear if you add them) and the venue's free-cancellation time. Players pay no booking fee to LaroCourts.
  • When you continue to payment, the time slot is held for you for the venue's hold time: usually 15 minutes, and never less than 5 or more than 60. If you don't finish paying in time, the hold ends and nothing is charged.
  • You pay on PayMongo's checkout page with GCash, Maya, QR Ph or a credit or debit card. Your booking is confirmed when the payment succeeds, and we send you a confirmation with your booking code by email, and by SMS if we have your mobile number.
  • If your payment goes through after the hold has ended, the booking is confirmed if the time is still free. If someone else has booked it, you get a full refund automatically.
  • You can book up to 60 days ahead. A booking can't be moved to another time: cancel it inside the free-cancellation window and book again.

Cancellations and refunds

The full rules are in the Cancellation and refund policy. In short:

  • Each venue sets a free-cancellation window of 0 to 168 hours before the start time, usually 24. Cancel inside it from My account and you get back everything you paid.
  • After the window you can't cancel online. Contact the venue, which can still cancel and refund you in full. Bookings you don't show up for are not refunded.
  • If the venue or LaroCourts cancels your booking, you get a full refund.

Split bills and open matches

  • The organizer pays for the whole booking to confirm it, then shares the invite link or lists the game as an open match that other players can join.
  • Each player's share is the total divided by the number of players, rounded up to the next centavo. Each time a player pays a share, that amount is refunded to the organizer. If some places are never paid for, the organizer has still paid for them.
  • Players can leave a game until they pay. Once you have paid a share, only the organizer (inside the free-cancellation window) or the venue can cancel the booking, and a cancellation refunds everyone who paid.
  • No one can join once the game has started or is full. Level ranges are a guide set by the organizer; we don't check players' levels.

At the venue

  • Show your booking code at the front desk, arrive on time and finish by the end of your booking. Follow the venue's rules and its staff's instructions.
  • Collect rental gear at the desk and return it when you leave. Normal wear is fine. If you lose or deliberately damage an item, the venue may ask you to pay for it under its own rules; that is between you and the venue.
  • Sport carries a risk of injury. Play within your ability and your health. The venue is responsible for its premises and equipment, and the coach for the lessons they run.

Fees

  • Players: no booking fee. You pay the price shown.
  • Venues: a commission on each online booking paid through LaroCourts, plus a monthly fee on paid plans, as shown on our Pricing page and in Billing. The commission rate is fixed when each booking is made. Walk-ins and blocks you add to your calendar are free.
  • Coaches: no fee of your own. The commission of the venue's plan is taken from your lesson fee in proportion.
  • PayMongo charges its own processing fees, separate from our commission.
  • We tell venues by email before we raise a plan fee or a commission rate. Bookings already made keep the rate they were made at.

Venues and partners

  • You must own the venue or be authorised to manage it, and hold the business registration and permits the law requires to run it.
  • Keep your listing accurate and up to date: courts, prices, opening hours, rental gear and stock, photos (which you must have the right to use) and your free-cancellation window. Block courts for maintenance or events, and record walk-ins in the calendar, so players can't book a court that isn't available.
  • Honour every confirmed booking at the price paid, and don't ask players to pay again at the desk for what they paid online. If you must cancel a booking, cancel it in your dashboard: the player gets a full refund automatically, and the refund comes off your share.
  • Use players' details only to host their bookings and deal with them, keep them secure, and follow the Data Privacy Act. You are responsible for the people you add to your team; remove them when they leave.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes and for issuing the official receipts or invoices the law requires for your services.
  • Payouts. Once your PayMongo account is connected, your share of each payment goes to it when the player pays. Until then we collect the full payment for you and transfer your share, less commission and refunds, by bank transfer or e-wallet. The Payments page shows what we owe you.
  • Plans and invoices. The Starter plan has no monthly fee. Paid plans are invoiced on the 1st of each month, due on the 8th. When you switch to a paid plan you get an invoice for the rest of the current month, and the plan starts once it is paid. If an invoice is still unpaid 14 days after its due date, your venue moves back to Starter. You can move to Starter at any time; plan fees already paid are not refunded.
  • We review each venue before it goes live and may pause a venue that breaks these terms or puts players at risk.
  • Partners who set up venues for their owners act for the owner, need the owner's permission, and hand the venue over to the owner's own account.

Coaches

  • Keep your profile accurate: your name, photo, sports, the levels you teach, languages and hourly rate. You set your own rate.
  • Teach only at venues that have approved you, keep your weekly hours up to date and turn up for every lesson booked.
  • Teach safely and responsibly, especially with children, and hold any qualification you claim.
  • If a lesson is cancelled and refunded, your share of it is reversed.
  • Your share goes to your PayMongo account when both you and the venue have connected payouts; otherwise we pay it to you. You are responsible for your own taxes.
  • We review coach profiles before they appear and may pause a profile that breaks these terms.

Your content and reviews

  • You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, ratings and comments you add. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, resize, display and share them on LaroCourts and in previews of its pages, for as long as they are on the service.
  • Only add content that is accurate, that you have the right to use, and that doesn't show people who haven't agreed to it.
  • Ratings and comments can be left only after a booking has ended. Keep them honest and about your own experience. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
  • The LaroCourts name, logo, design and illustrations belong to us.

What you must not do

When you use LaroCourts, you must not:

  • give false details, pretend to be someone else, or pay with a payment method that isn't yours;
  • book time slots to resell them, or hold slots you don't intend to pay for;
  • take a booking made on LaroCourts off the platform to avoid commission, or ask players to cancel and pay you directly;
  • harass, threaten or discriminate against players, venue staff or coaches;
  • post content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringes someone else's rights;
  • copy the site with bots or scrapers, overload it, probe or break its security, or get around its booking rules;
  • use LaroCourts for anything illegal, including fraud and money laundering.

Suspension and closing

We may pause or close an account, a venue listing or a coach profile that breaks these terms, puts people at risk or is used for fraud, or when the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you why first and give you a chance to respond. If we cancel a paid booking, the player gets a full refund.

Our responsibility

  • We work to keep LaroCourts available and accurate, but we provide it as it is and can't promise it will always be free of interruptions or errors.
  • Venues and coaches are responsible for the courts, lessons and gear they provide and for what happens at the venue. We are not liable for what they do or fail to do, except where the law makes us liable.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost opportunities.
  • For players, our total liability for a claim about a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. For venues, coaches and partners, it is limited to the commission and fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or for wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer.
  • Venues, coaches and partners will cover us for claims and costs caused by their services, their content or their breach of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

If you use LaroCourts as a consumer in the Philippines, this choice of law does not take away the protection of Philippine laws that cannot be set aside by agreement, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394), the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (Republic Act No. 11967) and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). You can also bring a claim in the courts of the Philippines or a complaint to the Department of Trade and Industry.

Changes and general terms

  • We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and we tell you by email or on the site before a significant change takes effect.
  • A booking is covered by the terms in force when it was made. If you keep using LaroCourts after a change, the new terms apply to you.
  • We send notices by email to the address on your account or show them on the site.
  • If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over LaroCourts; your rights under them stay the same.
